Azeroth Adventure Guide
Find your first story in Azeroth
Follow village quests, discover secrets outdoors, or gather friends for dungeons with bosses and treasure. Your character learns new abilities along the way. You do not need to understand every database on day one.
Meet the factions and choose your character
The Alliance and Horde have their own races, starting areas and stories. Talk with friends about your faction, then choose an appearance and class you enjoy. A race is your character’s background; a class shapes how you fight and help a group.

Checked 2026-10-13. The official announcement describes an access-controlled Beta, with October 21 listed as its final test day. At launch, play requires a WoW subscription or game time; some race and upgrade content has edition requirements. Regional prices are shown by the official shop. Free website tools do not mean the game is free.
With access granted, open World of Warcraft in the Battle.net desktop app, select “World of Warcraft: Forever Beta” from the game-version menu, install it and select an available test realm. Your account determines the versions and access actually shown.
